Archer infrastructure status
The Archer seed infrastructure is being deployed Fall/2008. These are the sites currently running or planning to run Archer virtual machines, and their configuration. Click here for the status of the Archer Global Condor pool.

PlanetLab bootstrap infrastructure
Archer uses hundreds of nodes in PlanetLab as a bootstrap infrastructure with virtual routers to facilitate users to get connected to our virtual network. Click here for an interactive map and summary of current PlanetLab virtual routers.
Archer seed sites
The Archer seed sites will host resources sponsored by the NSF/CRI project deployed over the course of three years.
- University of Florida: At the ACIS lab; VMs running on approximately 50 Intel Xeon cores with 1792MB memory. 100+ cores slated for deployment in Summer/Fall 2010.
- Northeastern University: 112 Xeon cores slated for deployment in Fall 2008.
- Florida State University: 112 Xeon cores slated for deployment in Fall 2008.
- University of Texas at Austin: 112 Xeon cores slated for deployment in Fall 2008.
- Northwestern University: 100+ cores slated for deployment in Summer/Fall 2009.
- University of Minnesota: 100+ cores slated for deployment in Summer/Fall 2009.
- Cornell University: 100+ cores slated for deployment in Summer/Fall 2010.
