Configuring priorities for a group of VMs

If you wish to connect multiple appliances to Archer Global, you can configure them to belong to a group, such that the jobs submitted from resources within the group have higher priority and pre-emptive scheduling with respect to jobs submitted by external users.

The current mechanism to configure a group is:

  • Specify, through the Archer User Panel Web interface for creation of an Archer Global floppy, a name for your group
  • Download the virtual floppy image
  • Ensure that all machines that you deploy in the group use the same floppy
